Malin Genie & Lazare Hoche - I Don't Sync So [LHR02]

DAHOUSEHEAD ESSENTIAL #1

One of the most exciting releases for me this year has been this release by one of my favorite producers,  Mr. Malin Genie, and new label on the scene Lazare Hoche. I say this because unlike other releases out there right now, this one has it all. 'Naive' starts it off proper with the style of House that's getting high output right now from lots of producers, that 90s style, the best without a doubt. It features female vocal cuts with pulsating house keys and a garage shuffle. Excellent for a night out.

We then get to 'Damn Near Made It'. A dance floor filler, guaranteed or your money back. It's perfect rhodes courtesy of Jules De La Courgette, captures a deep house wonder that gets complimented by a garage beat, it goes down smooth, every time.

Every good release needs a vocal monster track. In comes 'Pressure Baby'. Mar's vocals work so tremendously well it gives me goosebumps. Watch out for the times when the breaks come in because you well get shivers down your back! My personal favorite of the release.

Overall what i think makes this output by Lazare Hoche Records work so well is that they marriage well the style of Malin (Hard 90s House) with Lazare Hoche (Smooth 2012 Deep House). The result is something that you need to experience in person, on a system. The artwork is incredible too! 80's style with a 90's feel and 100% House.
